Week 1 as Theatre Owners

One week ago today at 5 am, I found myself staring at the sky, hoping that this would be the day everything changed. I paced around my house, waiting until I could make the big announcement. Finally, at 7 am, I hit 'post' on Facebook, announcing to the world that my family and I were the proud new owners of The Beach Theatre.

Within an hour I was talking with the St. Pete Catalyst, a couple hours after that Bay News 9 is filming me rolling up movie posters, shortly after that my mom calls me to say we're in the Tampa Bay Times! Not to mention the hundreds of responses I got through social media from friends, family, and people who have personal attachment to the theatre. To say we received quite a lot of feedback is an understatement.

Our big day didn't end there as that evening my mom and I were invited to the Zubrick Magic Theatre. Chris & Ryan treated us to an unforgettable show and invaluable advice for our new venture. Their warmth and generosity was truly inspiring.

The past 7 days have been filled with life changing and unforgettable moments.

The response we’ve received from the community has been overwhelming to say the least. We are so grateful for everyone who has reached out to congratulate us and welcome us as new theatre owners. 

Looking back on this rollercoaster of a week, I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible support from our community. Your response is fueling us toward bringing new life back to The Beach Theatre and I cannot thank you enough for joining us on this journey. This is just the beginning and I can't wait to see where it takes us.
